VOLUNTEERS - WE NEED YOU!
Overfest wouldn't be possible without the support of our fantastic volunteers. If you're able to spare some time to help on the day, we'd love to hear from you - and there's a free drink for every hour you volunteer!
Please sign up here to help with general event tasks.
Your class rep will also be sharing year-group-specific volunteering opportunities, so please do get involved if you can. A huge thank you for your support. We can't wait to welcome everyone for a fantastic afternoon of entertainment, community spirit and family fun!
New to the school? What to expect from Overfest
Highover’s own music festival Overfest is celebrating its 11th anniversary on Saturday 18 July from 2pm to 8pm. The festival will take place on the school fields and will include a host of talented musicians, including the school’s Young Voices choir and some special guests, as well as inflatables, a school disco, bars, BBQs, food stalls, craft and games zones. We can’t wait to see you there!
Here’s what you need to know:
ENTRANCE: Please enter via Cambridge Road - other entrances, including Orchard Road, will be closed and reserved for emergency access only.
STAMP CARDS: Stalls at Overfest (except the tuck, BBQ and bars) will accept Overfest stamps only. A £5 stamp card, available in advance or on the day, will give you 10 stamps – for example, the hook a duck costs 1 stamp and most inflatables cost 2 stamps (unless you’ve got a wristband).
The toddler tent, craft tent, tin can alley and others are all completely free.
WRISTBANDS: A £10 wristband will give you unlimited slots on the inflatables, which include a giant obstacle course, jumbo slide, helter skelter and bungee run!
RAFFLE: Get your tickets now to be in with a chance of winning a Nintendo Switch 2 console, a family experience at Chessington World of Adventures, a family day pass to Knebworth Gardens or one of many other prizes. £1 a ticket.
Raffle ticket sales close at 4.30pm on the day, with the prize draw taking place around 6pm at the event.
TICKETS: Once you’ve bought tickets, wristbands and stamps, you’ll be emailed a receipt. Please show this receipt on the door or at one of the playground ticket collections, where you will be able to collect the wristbands and stamp cards.

CHAIRS: Feel free to bring your own chairs or picnic mats!
PARKING: If you're driving to Overfest, please park considerately on the streets surrounding the school site and treat our neighbours with respect. Please do not block anyone's drive!
LAST ORDERS: Will be at 7.45pm and we ask everyone to please exit the site as quickly as possible at the end of Overfest.
